As we look at the days ahead, we’re feeling a sense of renewal, a surge of grace to continue pursuing the mission God has laid out for this ministry. Dr. Stanley’s calling—to reach the world with the gospel and make disciples on every continent—remains our calling. MINISTRY LEADERSHIP
Leading In Touch Into the Future
Dr. Stanley prayerfully considered the leadership needs of In Touch Ministries and made his wishes clear before his passing. He selected long-standing President and CEO Phillip Bowen and his Board of Directors to lead In Touch into the future. Phillip has been the President and CEO of In Touch for more than 10 years and was a trusted friend and travel companion to Dr. Stanley. He is deeply familiar with and dedicated to Dr. Stanley’s heart and vision for the future of the ministry, as is the Board of Directors.
His Calling Remains Our Calling
God gave Dr. Stanley a vision for In Touch Ministries that went beyond the pulpit and extended to the ends of the earth—to lead people worldwide into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and to strengthen the local church. Although Dr. Stanley has completed his part, until Christ calls us home, we still have work to do. Therefore, we’ll continue to broadcast his sermons on television and radio, publish the In Touch devotional, and seek innovative ways to reach people—helping them know Jesus in a more profound and all-encompassing way.
An important way we reach people is by developing leaders who will help new believers navigate the Christian life. This is why In Touch Ministries will continue to support local churches by training pastors in developing countries through the Life Principles Conferences, equipping missionaries with Messenger Lab devices, and creating discipleship resources for personal growth
Reaching an ever-changing world requires creative solutions. That’s why we’ll continue to utilize both new and existing communication technologies to share the good news of salvation with people. Whether via traditional broadcast media or the next digital service, we’ll meet people where they are, communicating with them in their heart language on their personal devices.
The Charles Stanley Institute provides free online courses rooted in Dr. Charles Stanley’s teachings and utilizes sermons, Bible studies, instructional videos, and leader guides. Through these courses, participants will come to a greater understanding of God’s Word, discipleship, and living the Christian faith practically. The Institute is symbolized by a tree, representing deep roots in Scripture and the goal of cultivating “oaks of righteousness” as described in Isaiah 61:3.

Your support allows us to share Dr. Stanley’s messages with those who haven’t heard them before or who would love to gain a deeper understanding of God’s Word by listening to his messages again. It allows us to send Messengers around the globe, host Life Principles Pastors Conferences, create discipleship resources, and broadcast the biblical truths God gave Dr. Stanley on television, radio, and online.
